In this event we will cover:
Environmental: Why legal professionals need to help upskill management teams and Boards on environmental compliance and policy. 
  • New mandatory ESG reporting requirements (in line with the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures recommendations) from April 2022, for:
    • the UK’s largest traded companies, banks, insurers and private companies; and
    • larger pension schemes, particularly in relation to climate change reporting.

  • The new Green Claims Code, that is focussed on “greenwashing” - already actively being enforced by the Competition and Markets Authority
